Valora Marine Ingredients is born inspired by the sea and its resources.
Our goal is offering products of natural origin that meet the needs of extremely dynamic industries, such as pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic industries, among others.
Valora is committed to respecting the environment, our raw materials and our source of resources—the oceans. In order to do this, Valora Marine Ingredients is based on the Japanese concept of Mottainai, which aims to achieve the optimisation and full use of our resources.

GOALS
Valora Marine Ingredients aims to give a differential value to the raw materials of our industry and the fishing sector. Through our own lines of work and in cooperation with multiple investigation centres, Valora works on the development of products related to the needs of different industries, such as nutritional supplements, food, pharmacy and fishery.
During the industrialisation stage we only use technologies which are both environmentally- and product-friendly. In order to do so, we apply the concept of marine biorefinery in which selective techniques of cracking and extraction are used in order to ensure optimal features for our customers.

We develop functional products that can be applied as natural compounds in sectors such as fishery and agriculture.

SUSTAINABILITY
Valora Marine Ingredients means sustainability. Our processes allow us to value and fully use our resources.
Under the concept of marine biorefinery, we succeed in making the most of 100% of the fish that arrives at our facilities. Over the course of time we have managed to remove the concept of subproduct and we have contributed to eliminate externalities generated in other production processes.
At present, all of our raw materials come from origins that allow us to control their traceability from fishing to the final consumer.
